This edition was on the 5th & 6th May and was the last edition with Swings Into Wings, a ticketed (capacity: 275) dinner and dance held in the HARS Museum on the night of the 1st event day.

After a 3-year absence, the freestyle motocross shows returned. These shows were provided by Team ARD and their state-of-the-art touring freestyle motocross truck, the largest portable landing ramp in the sport. Riders include Michael Norris, Alex Bucholtz & Codie Rooney.

The below flying program shows what was scheduled before the event began. When the event began, weather, mechanical issues with the aircraft or military requirements may have amended the program in its final displayed form at the Airport.

The Swings Into Wings dinner was a 3-course meal underneath the aircraft Connie. Swing Into Wings 2018 also included:

• 5 incredible ‘money can’t buy’ auction items, including the chance to personally meet John Travolta when he flies his Boeing 707 into Shellharbour Airport; a 2 hour simulator session at the Qantas Flight Training Centre; and enjoy a special dinner hosted by 3 senior Qantas Captains at Centro CBD.
• All proceeds benefitted Fairy Meadow-based school Dream Big Dancers, who cater specifically for children and adults with special needs.
