9pm Family Fireworks

The 9pm Family Fireworks soundtrack producer was Disc Jockey Pee Wee Ferris.

The 9pm Family Fireworks soundtrack is a deep house/heavy beat tribute to Australian rock music, which combines samples with driving dancefloor rhythms as only Peewee Ferris can. Artists honoured in the sampling include AC/DC, Silverchair & Billy Thorpe, to name a few.

Midnight Fireworks

The Midnight Fireworks soundtrack producer was David Stanhope. The full Midnight Fireworks soundtrack is original called Fireworks Sydney 2001 & was performed by David Stanhope, Robert Ampt, Sydney Symphony Orchestra & the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra.

The Midnight Fireworks soundtrack is a classical fantasia on Australian themes, both popular and more formal

City Of Sydney, 2000

In 2003, the soundtrack was reworked as Australian Fantasia, though with some additions and subtractions. It was divided into 4 parts: Sydney Harbour, Road To Gundagi, Southern Cross & Advance Australia Fair, which we have used as name for the tracks in the track list below, though we have renamed Southern Cross as Federation Star as that is the star referenced in the Midnight Fireworks when the music is played. In 2018, as part of David Stanhope’s studies into computer orchestras, he released Australian Fantasia for sale. This version can be bought here for AUD$25.30.

At 12:04am, during the Along The Road To Gundagai track, there was a segment known as Island Glow. Goat Island, Fort Denison & other Sydney Harbour islands lit up with white/silver stationary strobing flares during this segment alongside the Sydney Harbour Bridge and city buildings.
